Very friendly welcome. Room was lovely and very comfortable. Enormous comfy bed. Great breakfast. Proper coffee machine and guest area was really nice touch.

It's lovely here. I stayed as, a stopover on my SWCP walk... the owners are so welcoming and kind. Everything is really well done and comfy which was just what I needed after my first day on the trail!

Lovely stay, we stayed in room 5, huge bed with ensuite bath and shower. Warm welcome, great hosts.. Very friendly Great selection on the tea tray in the room. Clean Room, very quiet. Fantastic breakfast. Great pub across the road for an evening meal. Definitely recommend and would stay again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We were welcomed by Chris and Claire. It was a very warm welcome. The room is nice and cosy. You'll find a tray with tea, hot chocolate and snacks. The bed is very comfy and we had a perfect night rest. The bathroom is very well equiped with a nice warm shower. The breakfast was delicious! You can choose from a small menu. Chris was serving the breakfast and again he did it with a lot of joy. He gave us some tips as well what to do in the area. The location is perfect! It’s in the middle of Porlock. The beach is a nice 30 minute walk and after a nice day you can enjoy dinner and some ale in the local pub, which is across the street. We had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this B&B.

I had a lovely stay at The Cottage B&B in Porlock and recommend Clare and Chris’s B&B to anyone who wants to stay in the area. There were excellent hosts, the room was amazing with great shower and super bedding. The little touches to make everything perfect is what makes The Cottage B&B stand out, that and the amazing breakfast.

Very nice B&B, I'd rate it 4½ star throughout, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting a good quality B&B. Owners very pleasant, piping hot full English 😋. Well signed low doors 😬 Wouldn't hesitate to return when in the area.

Absolutely beautiful cottage. The bedrooms are big so is the bed. Everything is on hand plenty of shops and pubs. Clare and Chris are lovely hosts nothing too much for them. Will be coming back. Beautiful village

We stayed in a lovely large room in a lovely cottage run by lovely people. Superb breakfast, great location, spotlessly clean. I did suggest to Chris and Claire that they should run a B&B school in the quiet periods. Excellent.

The most welcoming, cosy, luxurious B&B. I had an extremely comfortable stay with the Cottage. Excellent breakfast too, with locally sourced ingredients. Everything at this B&B has been thought out so well and done to a high standard.
